The NYPAA Experience is a two-week summer intensive that combines focused performing arts training with cultural immersion in New York City. Students ages 9 to 12, 13 to 16, and 17 and older join us from across the United States and around the world. Each age group trains in its own dedicated floor and studio spaces within the same building, creating an age-appropriate environment where every student can focus, grow, and thrive. Daily training includes acting, voice, dance, and stage performance led by faculty who are working professionals in film, television, and Broadway.
Beyond the classroom, students attend Broadway productions, explore New York City landmarks, and participate in performance-based experiences that deepen their skills and confidence. This cultural immersion allows them to see themselves not simply as students, but as developing artists with a place in the creative life of the city.
Every participant receives merit-based scholarship support, with additional assistance available to students facing financial hardship. Donor generosity helps fund tuition assistance, housing stipends, meals, and essential program resources so that more talented students can participate fully, regardless of financial circumstance.
