The New York Performing Arts Academy is a flagship program of The MusicSquared Foundation, dedicated to opening doors for emerging artists in acting, musical theatre, dance, and voice. Located in the heart of New York City, The NYPAA provides students with direct access to industry professionals and real-world training that reflects the demands of today’s stage and screen. Students learn in small cohorts, guided by instructors who are themselves acclaimed performers and educators, building both technical skill and artistic confidence.
Every student who attends The NYPAA receives scholarship support — both merit-based and if applicable needs-based — ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of opportunity. Our programs are structured to not only provide world-class training but also to build community, resilience, and lifelong connections that support students beyond the classroom.
At The New York Performing Arts Academy, talent meets opportunity. We believe that the arts have the power to transform lives, and that every student, regardless of circumstance, deserves the chance to shine. Through your support, The NYPAA continues to elevate the next generation of performers who will carry the arts forward into the future.
When students walk onto our stage, they step into possibility — and walk away with the tools to turn possibility into reality.
At The New York Performing Arts Academy, training is only part of the story. Our mission is to create an environment where students can thrive both on and off the stage, supported by scholarships, mentorship, and resources that recognize the full spectrum of challenges young artists face. From classroom to career, our programs are designed to unlock potential while honoring every student’s unique journey.
The impact extends far beyond performance. Each graduate carries with them the resilience, creativity, and discipline cultivated here, stepping into the world as artists, leaders, and advocates for change.
